Jackie HarberLALG has a new chair, Jackie Harber, elected by the committee on 22 November. Jackie said: "Firstly, may I say a very big thank you to Elaine, our previous Chair. I saw firsthand how hard she worked and I send her my very best wishes for the future. I’m very excited about what lies ahead for me, and for LALG. The new committee are a very talented and supportive team.

Monday, 4 December - 10:30am

The first speaker will be Steff Collis from David’s Bookshop, who will tell us about the best books of 2023 and which books to look for at Christmas. Our main speaker, Stephen Barnard, is well-known to many of us. He will tell the story of the two men who gave us musical theatre as we know it in When Rodgers met Hammerstein. This illustrated talk will also include video clips. 

This free market will be held in Shuttlworth House between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 10th December. There will be a variety of food, craft and gift stalls.
