| Baldock and District Canoe Club | B&DCC was founded in 1982 with the aim of promoting canoeing in all its forms for local people. This includes whitewater, slalom, canoe polo and touring . These activities to take place anywhere in the UK and occasionally abroad. We aim to run one canoeing trip per month and one social event per month. We meet every Sunday evening in the pool at North Herts Leisure Centre from 20.15-21.15 The club is for adults only but juniors may join provided at least one parent joins as an active member. |

| Garden City Singers | Our aim is to join local people together to enjoy singing and be able to give something back to our community through fundraising. No experience is needed, no audition and all music is provided. A monthly subscription is required. Rehearsals take place weekly on a Wednesday evening in Letchworth. We are a friendly choir and every term is filled with a great selection of music to sing. Never a dull moment. |

| Hitchin Floral Art Club | The group usually meets on the third Wednesday evening of the month at Church House, Hitchin. We belong to NAFAS who provide qualified floral demonstrators. They show how to arrange flowers and foliage to create pleasing designs. | Hitchin Thespians | Hitchin Thespians are a musical theatre and choral society with a history spanning over a hundred years. This year plans are underway for a concert of musical theatre songs entitled ‘My favourite Things’ in April and an adult staged version of ‘Young Frankenstein’ in October. There will also be a Gilbert & Sullivan 'Bring, and Sing -The Gondoliers’ (open to non-members) in June. The Young Thespians present various staged shows throughout the year. The club takes part in both friendly matches and competitions with other local clubs, and individual members can also play in club and external competitions at various levels.
