Thursday 21st November
This morning our ride was to Jordan's Mill. Seven of us met up beforehand at The Three Magnets for a tea/coffee and a chat. The seven were David R, who? (Private joke) Angie, Roy, Geoff H, Russ, myself and Geoff P who lead the ride. Our outward route was via Arlesey, Henlow and Langford with John joining us at Henlow. David did not stop for lunch as he wanted to get in a few extra miles, he joined us again at Broom on our return. Adrian joined us for lunch. There was plenty of chat over an enjoyable lunch about current affairs. Afterwards, we set off in a group for our ride back via Broom, Southill, Clifton where Adrian headed home, Henlow, Arlesey and Fairfield. The weather remained overcast throughout but a little milder than of late. There was some wind from the west but nothing too serious. My mileage was 21 at an average speed of just over 11.
