The taste is of guave, asparagus, lime and gooseberry!

Good with creamy pasta and grilled prawns.

This wine comes from a vineyard in the Nelson region at the northern tip of the South Island , adjacent to it’s now more famous Marlborough neighbour and was set up by the pioneering  Seifried family in 1974. Their first vintage was in 1976 and the vineyard has gone from 5 acres to 300.

The wine was named after the famous “split apple” rock in the Abel Tasman National Park.
