Good numbers out again today, as eleven met at The Fountain, in somewhat brighter conditions than we've seen of late. As is now our usual practice, we rode in two groups, with myself leading Kris, Chris, Alan, Geoff H and Jerry, and Geoff P bringing Mia, Gareth, John and Stuart. As it's otherwise such a short ride, I took my group on a bit of a detour via Whitwell, Bendish and Breachwood Green, before arriving a little after the others at a couple of minutes past twelve. Mick and Pete joined us a short time later, having ridden out independently. Little did we know that it would be a good hour before our meals arrived; it's a good job we were able to keep ourselves amused for so long, and fortunately, the food was good, or there may have been a mutiny!
So it was quite late (for us), about half one, before we set off after lunch.
A most sociable day out, despite the inordinately long wait for lunch!
