I think we broke another record today, 16 at lunch! I'm not sure I can name everyone but I'll have a go!
We had 14 at the fountain, and I led a smaller group of 6 on a slightly longer route out; myself, Mia, Geoff H, Alan, Steve and Chris took in the climb to Preston before joining the usual route, and Geoff P had the pleasure of leading the bigger group (Jerry, Lakh, David, Ian, Stuart, Gareth and John). We were joined at the café by Mick and Paul, who rode out independently. The weather was breezy but warm, and we sat out on the terrace opposite the workshop, where it's easier to accommodate a large group. I guess we spent about an hour chatting over lunch, but as we'd arrived quite early, it was still well before 1 o'clock as we left. I was heading straight home via Whitwell and Hexton and took John, Alan, Geoff H, Chris and Mick with me, while everyone else returned to Letchworth via the outward route with Geoff P leading once more. Nice to see so many riders out today!
