Today was our ride to Great Offley and The Red Lion for lunch. There were no newcomers but there were still nine of us at the start. With Geoff P and I present, we had two groups; Angie, Ian and Stuart joined Geoff for the shorter route, while Alan, John D, Kris and Geoff H followed me for an extra loop. It was pretty chilly due to the nagging Northerly, so we were all pleased to arrive at the pub early and get indoors! At this point, Mick had also joined us, having ridden from Harpenden, so there was a nice round ten for lunch. The landlord will've been pleased to see us as we were the only customers the entire time we were there.
After lunch, it was no warmer and with my group heading North into the wind, it wasn't very pleasant; I for one was happy to get home! Adrian
