What a difference weather-wise! Clear blue skies for most of the morning, though it was a bit chilly at first, and no wind—a big plus for cyclists!
Ten of us met at the fountain, eleven if you include Angie, who once again popped up to see us off. She's making good progress, and hopefully will be back on the bike soon. There were enough of us for two groups today, so Alan led a group on a slightly longer route; Mia, John D, Geoff H and Andy S went with him, whilst Geoff P led the rest of us (I was feeling lazy!) on a more direct route. Besides Geoff and me, Adrian, there was Stuart, John H and Andy E. We picked up Nige at Stanford, so once we were all together at Shuttleworth, we had eleven for lunch. It's a bit limited fare at the café, but it's adequate, I guess, and you don't have to wait long.
After lunch, we split into two main groups, with the larger number taking the direct route back toward LGC, the two Andys both making their own ways, and me, Alan, John D and Geoff H taking a loop out toward Maulden for a few extra miles. Adrian
