Today's ride was to Shuttleworth Aerodrome. Four riders met at the fountain in Broadway Gardens on this cold December morning, John D, who took the lead and Andy E, Mia, and myself. Our route took us through Arlesey and the usual route out to Ireland, where I left the group to cycle directly to our destination while the rest of the group did the Cardington circuit. I arrived about 35 minutes before the others joined me but in the meantime, Paul W arrived. A convivial lunch was had. Afterwards, we all set off on our journeys home. As I mentioned above, the weather was cold, with 30 mph plus crosswinds at times. Our individual routes will be on Strava.
