Southill

Our ride on this lovely October morning was to Southill and The White Horse for lunch. We set off from the fountain with Geoff P in the lead, followed by John H, John D, Mia, Geoff H, Myself and a new member, Paulo. We had an enjoyable ride through the Bedfordshire countryside. We passed Kris going in the opposite direction just before Stanford, so it was nice to know that he had recovered from his cycle accident on Tuesday. We were rather early, and so did the Ireland / Old Warden circuit, but we still arrived at the pub about 15 minutes early. Bedford Paul arrived shortly after to join us for lunch. It was such a nice morning that we sat in the garden waiting for the pub to open and decided to sit outside anyway. A nice lunch was had, basking in the warm sunshine. Following lunch, we set off with Paul doing his own thing and two groups with Geoff H, John D and Mia doing a longer circuit home with the rest of us going direct.
