Another good turnout, beautiful weather (if a bit chilly) and the pub was good too. Ten set out from the fountain, with Geoff P leading John H, Steve, Stuart and Ian, a new rider. They picked up Nige at Ickleford. With me, Adrian were Mia, John D, Kris and Geoff H.
We went by the clockwise route, with Geoff's group doing an out-and-back by the short route, though they did add a loop around Shillington.
We arrived within a few minutes of each other, and were also joined by Bedford Paul, so we were 12 for lunch in total. Service (and beer!) at the pub was excellent, and the meals were reasonably priced too. It was also warm enough to sit out in the pleasant garden, which was a bonus.
Afterwards, we more or less all set off together, though I peeled off at Shillington to stop for supplies at the farm shop in Lower Gravenhurst (Disco-licious).
Geoff's group covered 27 miles at about 12.5 mph. Adrian
