Nobody remembered to take a picture today, so excuse me if I don't remember everyone there! There was quite a good turnout today. Geoff P led a small group with Stuart, Angie and John H. I led a larger group with Kevin, Geoff H, John D, Jack, Andy and Steve C, then we picked up Nige in Wymondley. Geoff's group did the direct run, with mine doing a longer circuit to put in a few extra miles. Mick met us at our lunch venue The Red Lion, so we were thirteen in total if my maths is correct...
The pub is under new management, and although the ordering was slow, the food arrived in a quick time, so that was good. They did well considering, as it was the bar staff's first day! After a pleasant hour on the patio, various groups set off for the return, with five of us heading for Hexton and Shillington. A warm and humid day, mostly overcast, with fairly decent riding conditions. Adrian.
