Thursday 21st April
A gloriously sunny day saw 13 riders at the fountain this morning, for our GCW ride to Southill. We set off in two groups, Adrian leading the first, with Alan, Andy, John D, Kevin and Mia, and Geoff P leading the second group, with John H, Stuart, Martin, Roy, Steve and Angie. We added a couple of loops so as not to arrive too early, and give the others time to order. Paul from the Bedford 40+ group joined us as he often does on Thursdays. Service was quick and efficient, and lunch in the garden was very pleasant indeed. Afterwards, most of us headed off in the direction of LGC, but as Adrian and John D were only a short distance from home they added a westward loop before heading home.
