Baldock Walk

Meet at Park Drive Health Centre (near Tesco), Baldock SG7 6EN. Free parking at the back of Tesco. 

A walk of about 4.5 miles to the George IV pub – via Icknield Way to Welbury Farm, then a fairly steep hill followed by wide open paths with lovely views, and on to Weston Hills Local Nature Reserve and Hatch Lane, which is steep, and along a lovely path behind the pub, where there is quite a high stile (this could be avoided by walking down Hatch Lane and along the main road to the pub). Coffee at the pub followed by a walk through the nature reserve back to Baldock.
