Claire recently was invited to provide a demonstration of Taiko drumming for the children of Hillshot school, at their assembly. The children really enjoyed trying out the drums and apparently were talking about it for the rest of the day.
Taiko Drumming
We meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at St Thomas Church, Wilbury Hall, Bedford Road SG6 4DU. There is some parking but other parking is in a sideroad close by.
Have fun taking part in this Japanese drumming and movement practice in a small, tutor-led group. Drums provided. Taiko is a physical activity involving movement of arms, and body. If you have any health concerns please discuss this with your Doctor. You will be responsible for working within your own limits.
£12 per 2-hour session payable in advance to cover room hire, tuition and equipment. We learn pieces of rhythm using a notation system.
