Poetry in the Afternoon

Third Thursday of the month, 3pm

We are not poets, not writers, just poetry lovers. Each month we search out poems on an agreed theme. At our meetings we read our selected poems aloud and share our thoughts about why we like them. Our chosen poems range from the sixteenth to the twentieth century and beyond. If you enjoy reading poetry, come and join us.

We take turns to host meetings in our homes, where we can read poetry in a quiet and relaxed environment - and often enjoy a soft drink and cake together!
