This is a relatively new group with half a dozen regular members so far - more will always be welcome!
We meet from 2pm to 4pm on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at the bar of the Broadway Hotel, Broadway, SG6 3NZ. See the Group Events panel, and "Meeting dates", under Group Articles below, for details of forthcoming arrangements, including any exceptions.
Piquet is a fairly simple two-handed card game of French origin, easy to learn but with surprising subtleties. There is a more challenging variant called Auction Piquet, invented by British prisoners of war in WW1, which has become the game of choice for most of us.

Although our official meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoons each month, some of us meet on other Thursdays. If anyone thinks about joining us on an 'unofficial' Thursday, please contact Phil to check first, on the phone number or email address shown.
