2 Talks - Woodstock 1969 and Sadie Centre

The main speaker is Dr Katy Brooks Hughes. Her talk Woodstock: 1969 explores the origins of 1969’s Woodstock Festival; the people and performers who shaped it; and how, despite its chaotic creation, Woodstock became a defining cultural moment for a generation.

The first speaker is Emma Cant from the Sadie Centre (formerly Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living). She will explain how the Centre has changed direction and joined up with Herts Mind.

We meet in the Kincaid Hall, Letchworth Settlement, Nevells Road SG6 4UB. Doors open 10am for 10.30am. Limited parking is available on site; free parking is available by the outdoor swimming pool and the Bowls Club, both a few minutes’ walk away in Icknield Way.

£4 members, £6 non-members (membership is available on the door). There is no need to buy a ticket in advance, just come along! Tea/coffee is available before the talk, £1 per mug.
