Talk: Women in Geology

Carrie Dunne will talk about 2 women in Geology and their very different lives. The first is palaeontologist Mary Anning (1799-1847); the second is geologist Eileen Mary Guppy (1903-1980), about whom Carrie wrote an article for the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.

We will meet in the Underwood Room (upstairs, but there is a lift), Mrs Howard Hall, Norton Way South, Letchworth SG6 1NX. Free car parking is available next to the Hall.
