Bloomsbury - NOW FULLY BOOKED

We will meet at 11am by the John Betjeman statue on the upper concourse at St Pancras station.

Our walk around Bloomsbury - lasting approx 3.5 - 4 hours - will cover a maximum of 4 miles (it may well be less).

We will take in places of interest along the way - focussing on literary links (Woolf, Orwell etc), famous landmarks and medical innovation (GOSH, Foundling Hospital). We will also cover bits of the university (UCL) and the British Museum.

There will be at least one stop for lunch/drinks (exact location to be decided on the day) - but you can bring your own refreshments if you prefer.

The walk is being led by LALG volunteers (rather than tour guides or ‘experts’) and those on the walk are invited to share their knowledge of the area as we proceed. To help cover costs there is a charge (cash please) of £5 per person.
