Fabian Hiscock from Three Rivers Museum Trust will tell us about the history and restoration of wooden canal boats using The Roger as an example. The Roger was built by Bushell Brothers of Tring in 1936 for the Aylesbury coal merchant and canal carrier, Arthur Harvey-Taylor. It is one of the last wooden canal boats in working order.
