Slow Walk

Sheila and Phil are leading this walk. Meet at the Bushell and Strike, Mill
Street, Ashwell, Hertfordshire SG7 5LY. Entrance to the car park is on
Gardiners Lane. It is the original walk that was planned for February of about
3.5 miles on a mix of field footpaths and surfaced paths. There is a gentle
incline near the start of the walk for about 500 yards. After this the walk is fairly
flat with some good views. We hope that the pub will be open before we start
the walk to access toilets. The pub needs to know lunch numbers a week
before so if you wish to have lunch, please book a place by Tuesday 8 July. If

Sun, Hall’s Green, near Weston, SG4 7DR, passing the Hall’s Green
‘menagerie’, then nice countryside. Arrive at 10.10am to choose from the menu
