We will be looking at Female Costumes in 19th century historical films, specifically Corsage, about the Empress Elizabeth of Austria; the Netflix film Hillbilly Elegy about the boyhood of JD Vance(!) starring Glenn Close and Amy Adams; and the music biopics of Elton John, Freddie Mercury, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix.
