Guided Tour of Capel Manor Gardens (time TBC)

Capel Manor is a beautiful Georgian house set in 30 acres with picturesque gardens. Dating back to the 13th century, the estate is home to 40 colourful gardens, a mini zoo, café and Capel Manor College’s Enfield Campus. You will find a holly maze, temple lake, cactus house and much more. In the mini zoo there are over 75 species of exotic and domestic animals used primarily as part of the students’ learning. 

We will travel by shared cars, taking approximately 45-50 minutes from Letchworth, to arrive for optional refreshments in the café at 10.30am. Then there will be a private tour of the estate at 11am lasting approximately one hour. Following this there will be free time to explore on your own, have a picnic lunch or optional refreshment in the café. 

The maximum number for this trip is 20 and the booking window is Sunday 1 June to Thursday 12 June. Price per person for entrance and guided tour £14.
