Nationally and locally, policies and strategies have been introduced to mitigate the risks of climate change, reduce fuel poverty, improve energy security and tackle unhealthy conditions in homes. Delivery on those policies and strategies will involve extensive retrofit work on much of our housing stock.

Join our monthly lunchtime get-togethers, at the Broadway Hotel, Broadway SG6 3NZ, where group members have an opportunity to share ideas and the latest news on actions that will help Letchworth to reduce its carbon footprint.
Updates we would like to see incorporated in Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation’s design standards, heat pumps and home batteries are currently popular areas of discussion.
We meet from 12:30 to 2pm on the first Monday of the month.
