On Wednesdays mornings, we play nine holes on the main course at one of the following Clubs:- Mount Pleasent, Chesfield, Stevenage or Letchworth. 

The Green Fee is from £9 to £15 depending on which course we are playing.

Our games are social rather than competitive; we have mixed abilities, and enjoy meeting in the clubhouse after the game.

New members are very welcome.

Meetings are held on alternate Tuesdays at 2.30pm at 3, Longmeadow Drive, Ickleford.

We meet at the Letchworth Tennis Club on Mondays from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, excluding Bank Holidays.

Unfortunately we are unable to take any new players at the moment.

We meet at Fearnhill School on Monday evenings from 7.00-8.00pm.

We play mixed doubles on a rotational basis.

Please contact us if you have played before but need to refresh your skills.

Tuesday and Fridays

1pm - 4.30pm

(If you arrive earlier just join tables and start playing and if you can’t stay for a whole afternoon we don’t mind if you leave early) 

Venue: The Friends' Meeting House, Howgills, 42 South View, Letchworth Garden City.

The group is a friendly non-competitive bunch who help each other out.  We play a wide variety of games: cards, board games, dominoes, crokinole, Chinese checkers etc.

The Club meets at Norton Methodist Church, North Avenue, in the adjacent hall. There is parking at the front and entry to the hall is down the right hand side.

The fee per meeting is £3.00 which includes tea, coffee and biscuits.

We are a group who enjoy social cycling and we generally ride on the third Thursday of every month. We cycle in North Hertfordshire, Central Bedfordshire and occasionally into Cambridgeshire.  The distance covered on our rides is up to 30 miles.  Our group is of mixed experience and ability, so all adults are welcome. We aim these rides at beginners and those that haven't cycled for a while and will ride at the speed of the slowest rider.

Gentle exercise and Yoga help improve well-being and quality of life. This programme provides a perfect complement to support your other activities by helping you gently work on flexibility and balance, including all the joints and muscle groups of the body. Suitable for all levels and most health conditions. 

This is an ancient board game for two players, enjoyed by over 40 million people worldwide. The basic aim is to surround more territory than your opponent. Despite its simple rules, Go provides a real mental ‘workout’ and plenty of fun.

Join us at the Cultivo Lounge in Leys Avenue every other Tuesday from 7.30pm.

We meet once or twice a week at members' homes where, the day and time changes frequently to suit everyone. We play the game for pleasure.

The game and the way we play it lends itself to both the beginner and the more advanced.

This group is full at the moment, but group Mah Jong 2 has vacancies.

The Mah Jong 2 Group meet each week on Monday evenings from 7.30pm and we take it in turns to host the evening in our own homes. We have recently lost members, due to their work commitments, so we would like to invite new members to join us.

The game is easy to learn and very enjoyable, as your hand changes every round! So if you are interested in learning how to play this intriguing game, please contact Linda for more

Wednesdays, 2pm Letchworth Par 3 Family Golf Centre, Willian Way.

We have three lanes to play on and a maximum of 6 on each.

We are organising an ‘It’s a Knockout Competition’ over the next few weeks.

Newcomers are very welcome.

No need to book. Just turn up. £2 per session.

We are a very friendly group, about 14 of us so far. Play, watch or just join us for coffee.

Rummikub - a cross between rummy and canasta, played with tiles not cards.

Venue is the Broadway Gallery Café  in The Arcade, Letchworth.

We meet weekly on Wednesdays, 10.00am to 12 noon and Thursdays 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

Short tennis is played in doubles on a smaller court with a soft ball. It’s easier than Lawn Tennis but still good fun and a new skill to master.

We play indoors at the Letchworth Tennis Club, Muddy Lane, on Thursday mornings from 10.30am to 11.30am.

We ride on Sunday mornings twice a month at a leisurely pace for around 10-15 miles on cycle tracks and quiet roads.

This is a social ride always ending with a coffee stop.

We meet by the fountain in Broadway Gardens, Letchworth, usually at 10.00 am.

We welcome new riders so please contact me for further details.

We meet in the Central Methodist Church Hall, Letchworth.  (Junction of Norton Way South and Pixmore Way, car park entrance Pixmore Way) Thursdays, 7.30-9.30pm with some exceptions - see dates of sessions under "Group events" opposite. To make it easy the exception dates are also listed below.

We play on four tables so sixteen can play at the same time.

Every Tuesday Morning at 10.00am, we play Table Tennis in our new Air Conditioned location at the Letchworth Tennis Club, Muddy Lane, SG6 3BT.
Anyone wishing to join should check to see if there is availability.
Bats and balls supplied.

Cost £2.50 per one hour. But If you don’t play, you don’t pay!

 

 

Our whist drive is still going strong.

We meet at The Letchworth Free Church Hall, Gernon Road, Letchworth every Thursday evening.

The doors open 7.15pm and we finish at approximately 10.00pm.
