NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017
To be held in the Main Hall, Mrs Howard Memorial Hall, Norton Way South, Letchworth Garden City SG6 1NX
on Tuesday 7 November 2017 at 7.30pm
All members are welcome to attend. The meeting will be followed by a free Table Quiz with drinks and nibbles.

The last few calendars printed to mark our 30th Anniversary, created by David Tappin using LALG photographs, are available in David's Bookshop, Letchworth. Large ones are £3.50, tall & slim ones £3. Don't forget your membership card for 10% discount! |
The 2014 AGM will be held at The Settlement, Nevells Road, Letchworth on Tuesday 4th November at 7:30pm. It will be followed by a social event.
The committee will ask the members to approve the following resolution: "That LALG seeks registration as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with the Charities Commission." An explanation is given in the attached document.
We would like to increase our Arts and Crafts activities within LALG. Currently we have Spinners and Weavers, Knitting and Art and Design Groups.

A BIG PARTY HOG ROAST on 17th June
will be held at the Letchworth Cricket Club to mark our Silver Anniversary, Numbers will be limited so the event will be for LALG members only. Download your application form attached below.
The British Red Cross Open Gardens Book (which includes the LALG Open Gardens Days, June 16-17) is out now. Copies available at Davids Bookshop, the Tourist Information Centre, other shops and also garden centres.
It is now 25 years since LALG was founded with a handful of groups and a small band of enthusiastic members, who thought that Letchworth needed somewhere people with similar interests, of all sorts, could meet. We now have over 60 interest Groups, and 1500 households as members.
A circuit from Radwell Meadows car park in Norton, outside Letchworth. There is one pub (the Chequers in Stotfold), passed in the second half of the walk, and one village store (Norton) about half way. There are two stiles.
