A Reminder

Keep a watch on our calendar!  Where it is safe to do so some of our groups are starting up again.  Whilst others are still meeting online where social distancing makes social gathering impossible.

On 14 July at 2.30pm I am hosting our first Beetle Drive, which should be fun.

We are still running our monthly talks.  After a very enjoyable virtual stroll around Cambridge with Murray Jacobs we are going to hear from Derek Blyth about the life and work of Édith Piaf on 29 July at 7.30pm.

To book for all these events contact lalgevents@lalg.org.uk with thanks to the team which is facilitating these events for us.

Our next quiz is on 25 July and we will provide further details of how to participate closer to the time.

Letchworth Open Gardens is still open online and raising money for charity.  Do take a look at their website https://www.letchworth-vog.org/.  They are supporting The Garden House Hospice and British Red Cross and hope to raise £1000 for each.  A lot of effort has gone in to producing lovely gardens for us to view so do give them your support.

The Wynd Art Gallery is also reopening with the launch of the ‘I Care Campaign’ and a show curated by Adrian Marden.  See more at https://wyndgallery.co.uk/

Finally, a big thank you to those who came forward in response to my request for help.  We are now finding appropriate roles for them and it will be a great help.
