New Group - POLISH CULTURE, TRADITIONS AND LANGUAGE

Wednesday 11 September, 7.30pm in the Broadway Hotel bar, turn right as you enter.

Polish culture and traditions have their origins in the culture of the West Slavs. Over time they have been influenced by interweaving ties with the Germanic, Hungarian, Latinate, Byzantine and Ottoman worlds. This group could investigate dance, festivals, traditions, etiquette, food and family; or practise conversational Polish, and perhaps even hold a Polish evening. A good attendance will ensure that this group will get going.
