Armistice in Mons

 

The Battle of Mons was the first major battle of World War One and it was here that the last shots of WW1 were fired. 11th of November 2018 commemorates Armistice Day in Mons. Travel buddies would like you to join us on this centenary event to visit battlefields around Mons and Nimy Bridge, the excellent Mons War Museum, moving memorials including that of Canadian soldier George Lawrence Price, recognised as the last to die during The Great War, plus, the St. Symphorien Cemetery where the first and last casualties of the battle are now laid to rest.

The whole trip will cost around £380 which will include travel by coach, 3 nights hotel stay with continental breakfast and guided by a specialist Battlefield Guide.
