‘THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR’ – Comedy by William Shakespeare. (Evening Performance)

The old rogue Sir John Falstaff has returned penniless from the war and plans to seduce two ‘merry wives’.

This production is set in 1947 – a time of austerity & optimism, when women are finding a new role in Britain. Music at The Garter Inn is appropriate 40’s music.

Relax and enjoy a picnic before enjoying a performance under this covered theatre with its delightful outdoor stage setting.

Cost £26 (£27 Non-LALG), which includes coach and good seat in centre block.

Coach leaves Letchworth Station Bus Stop opposite Barclays Bank at 5.00pm.
