David Hockney at Tate Britain

Monday, 27 March 2017

One of the most popular and influential British artists of the twentieth century returns to Tate Britain for his most comprehensive exhibition yet. This exhibition gathers together an extensive selection of his most famous works celebrating his achievements in painting, drawing, print, photography and video across six decades. As he approaches his 80th birthday, Hockney continues to change his style and ways of working, embracing new technologies as he goes. This exhibition shows how the roots of each new direction lay in the work that came before. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to see these unforgettable works together.

I have reserved two groups of timed tickets and the cost including travel is £30.00 (non-LALG £31.00). The coach will leave Baldock (opposite the Community Centre) at 9.00am and Letchworth (opposite Barclays) at 9.15am.

To book, please phone Susan Mellor on 01462 456486 as soon as possible. Bookings will close on Friday 10 March. Messages will be responded to but will not constitute a firm booking.
