Dinner and After-Dinner Speaker

All members and their guests are welcome at this dinner, which is followed by a light-hearted talk, ‘Three Down and Two to Go’, by Nick Peace – an exploration of a life-long obsession with collecting things and how his interest in philately has taken him to interesting places around the world. Join him on a perforated, sticky piece of paper on trips to remote islands with fascinating people. 

Tickets are £37 per person, including staff gratuity. The bar will be open for you to purchase drink(s). 

Everyone should select one main course from the following (all are served with Seasonal Vegetables) - special dietary requirements should be given at the same time:

  • Chicken Breast Stuffed with Sundried Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Basil Wrapped in Prosciutto and Served with a Provencal Sauce & New Potatoes Stacks (GFA)
  • Slow Cooked Beef with a Chasseur Sauce & Parmentier Potatoes (GFA)
  • Salmon Fillet Wrapped in Pancetta, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, served with a Sweet Chilli Drizzle, Crushed New Potato Stack & Seasonal Greens
  • Butternut Squash, Lentil & Almond Wellington, Served with Parmentier Potatoes, Provencal Sauce and Seasonal Veg. (V)

and select one dessert:

  • Homemade Cheesecake of the Day
  • Crumble of the Day & Custard
  • Fruit Salad

And then tea or coffee.

In-person: at one of LALG's Open Meetings (Monday 3 February and Monday 3 March). You can pay by cash, cheque or card and give your menu selection. In-person sales close Monday 3 March at noon.
