A 2-hour baby and child first aid class – perfect for carers, parents and grandparents who are looking to learn some basic first aid.
The following topics will be covered: Treatment of an unconscious casualty; baby and child recovery positions; shock; baby and child resuscitation and CPR; baby and child choking; head injuries; fever; febrile seizures; bleeding; burns; fractures; anaphylaxis; meningitis; and other common childhood conditions.
You will have the opportunity to practise the skills that you are being taught and ask lots of questions throughout. We can arrange the class during the day or early evening.
