The first speaker will be Steff Collis from David’s Bookshop, who will tell us about the best books of 2023 and which books to look for at Christmas. Our main speaker, Stephen Barnard, is well-known to many of us. He will tell the story of the two men who gave us musical theatre as we know it in When Rodgers met Hammerstein. This illustrated talk will also include video clips.
We meet in the Kincaid Hall, Letchworth Settlement, Nevells Road SG6 4UB. Doors open 10am for 10.30am. £4 members, £6 non-members (membership is available on the door). Tea/ coffee is available before the talk, £1 per mug. CASH ONLY please.
Limited parking is available on site; 2 hours’ free parking is available by the outdoor swimming pool a few minutes’ walk away.
