Thanks everyone for taking part in yesterday evening’s quiz. It was tight at the top but well done the Smashing Pumpkins, who pipped All the Ws by a single point.
A few comments:
- Round 1 proved to be the most challenging for virtually all the teams
- South African geography stumped almost everyone - only one team named all 3 Orange River countries correctly
- It seems that few of you are as devoted Smarties fans as I am
- We have a family connection with the Bond Bug, a crazy vehicle that some of you remembered. A very young student Derek appeared on TV (Wheelbase) in 1970 driving one. His only TV appearance to date.
