Tour of the Cloisters with Optional Afternoon Tea

Opened in 1907 as an Open Air School by Miss Annie Lawrence, this historic building has a wealth of unusual features.

It fell into disrepair after it was commandeered by the army during the 2nd World War, and some parts are no longer accessible. Since 1951 it has been home to many local Masonic Lodges, and is also a popular venue for weddings.

The manager conducts guided tours for up to 25 people (socially distanced as much as possible!), followed by a substantial Afternoon Tea.
The cost is £10 for the guided tour only, or £30 for the tour followed by Afternoon Tea.
If you would like to take part please contact Val by Monday 2 August.
