Members' Open Morning Meetings

These meetings have been suspended until further notice because of corona virus.

We meet monthly so you can catch up with fellow members and visitors over a drink, then listen to one or two speakers.  Meetings can be in the morning or evening - see the details for each meeting in the events panel on the right.

Morning meetings

We meet at 10.15am for coffee (70p) with time for groups and individuals to share any news and plans. Cost £2.50 (non-members £3.50, membership available at the door). The first speaker, usually from a local organisation or a LALG member, starts at 10:30am. The second speaker could be from anywhere and speak on any subject!

Venue: Letchworth Settlement, Nevells Road, Letchworth, SG6 4UB. 5 minutes walk from the station: turn right out of the station, walk over railway bridge and first right. The Settlement has asked us to point out that, as parking at the Settlement is limited extra parking is available near the bowling green and the outdoor pool in Icknield Way.

Evening meetings

The start time and location of these meetings varies, so see the individual meeting's details. A glass of wine or soft drink may be included, depending on the venue.
