Ayot St Peter - FULL

This non-religious group visits places of worship to learn about their architecture, monuments and history, and about the people who have been associated with them over the years.

Today we will visit St Peter's Church, Ayot St Peter 

This Arts and Crafts church is given 2 stars in Jenkins’ 1000 Best Churches. It has a unique ceramic chancel arch and colourful decorations. We will have a talk about the church and then we can wander round to admire it. 

Meet at the church at 10.50am ready for a prompt 11am start. Note it has a compost toilet in the cemetery.

Tickets

All tickets have been sold but there is currently no waiting list. Please email Ann at visitingchurches@lalg.org.uk if you would like to go on the list - but please do not turn up ‘on spec’ without booking.  

LALG members only, £5 per person. Payment is by cheque made payable to ‘LALG’ or cash only, no cards. All money will go to the church.

Parking is available by the church but please share cars if possible as space is limited.
