Zoom talk: From hill walking in the UK to High Camp in the Himalayas by Geoff Smith

Mountain climbing is a popular sport and our presenter, Geoff Smith, has climbed some of the best-known mountain ranges. During this talk he will share his experience with us. From his first assent of Snowdon at the age 16 to other UK Mountain areas, the French and Swiss Alps, New England, New Zealand and the highest mountain range he has climbed, the Himalayas.

Geoff will also talk to us both some of the equipment used - for safety, exploration and just in case there is an emergency.
