Judy Garland - in her own words

Registration is closed for this event

Judy Garland, born Frances Ethel Gumm, was one of the greatest stars of the twentieth century. From her breakthrough role as Dorothy in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ to her untimely death in London in 1969, she was rarely out of the news, out of the gossip columns or off the radio or TV. That her private life was far from happy is a matter of public record. In this talk, illustrated with many of her recordings, we will hear from Judy herself, in interview and in private.
The talk will start promptly at 7.30 with participants being allowed into the zoom room 10 minutes in advance. To give the best experience participants will be muted with cameras turned off during the talk.
