Kristian Day – Broadway Gallery

Registration is closed for this event

Kristian Day is an independent curator currently in charge of programming and development at the Broadway Gallery, Letchworth. Kristian has worked in the art industry for 25 years, beginning as a lecturer in Art History for the University of Hull before moving to London in 2001 where he worked for numerous galleries (including a decade-long period on Cork Street) before going setting up his own company curating exhibitions for private and public galleries up and down the nation.

Kristian took over the Broadway Gallery in his hometown of Letchworth just before the art industry was devastated by the spread of Covid-19, meaning his plans for the space and the Arts in Hertfordshire ended before they could begin. Over the last two years however the gallery has gone from imminent closure to the centre of a thriving art scene with an ambitious vision for the future.

The talk will start promptly at 7.30 with participants being allowed into the zoom room 10 minutes in advance. To give the best experience participants will be muted with cameras turned off during the talk.
