Booking is now open for our online concert on 20 November, to be given by the award-winning violinist Eleanor Corr. This is a combined event with the Settlement.

During November Brian and one other volunteer have been litter picking on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
If the Coronavirus guidelines permit the full team will recommence activities on 5th Decemeber see Events panel.
We have had a lot of good feedback from members of the public. Therefore our efforts have not gone unnoticed.
BOOKING CLOSES TONIGHT 11pm
LALG and the Settlement have joined forces to launch what we hope will be the first in a series of musical events. The first is on Friday, 23 October at 7:30pm with flautist Emma Halnan, who lives in Letchworth and won the woodwind section of Young Musician of the Year 2010.
Jodi Taylor, author of the bestselling Chronicles of St Mary's series, is the next speaker in our programme of free online events. The thriller-writer will talk about her disaster-prone historians, who investigate major historical events in contemporary time, on Wednesday, 4 November at 2:30pm.
Details of our series of free weekly online events are now available; the programme is varied so there is something for everyone.
The LALG committee has provided information about COVID-19 to help members and meeting organisers.

Here is some information about the Covid-19 Spring Plan and how it will affect us all going forward.

Keep a watch on our calendar! Where it is safe to do so some of our groups are starting up again. Whilst others are still meeting online where social distancing makes social gathering impossible.
Do you have skills you could offer to support our new website - if so read on!
We are pleased and relieved to see our groups are starting to meet in person again. Some are mentioned in the July e-newsletter but others are restarting all the time. This is a list of those groups - it will be added to as plans progress so please keep checking here.
Activities Post-Lockdown
The Committee has issued information, agreed with LALG’s insurers, about restarting events. Details can be found here.
Dear LALG Members
In this message are dates for some upcoming events. Our monthly online talks have been a great success and we are now adding some more to the calendar. We are also trialling a Beetle Drive via Zoom! Although the lockdown is easing we realise that not everyone will be comfortable venturing out so we thought we'd try something else to keep ourselves occupied.
