Baldock Floral Society We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month in the Community Centre, Baldock 7.0 for 7.30pm. Beautiful floral arrangements by qualified demonstrators are raffled at the end of the evening. Annual subscription is £38 to include membership and admission. Baldock Town Twinning Association Engaging, visiting and hosting residents of the two towns BTTA are Fund twinned with Sanvignes in France and Eisenberg in Germany. Organising fund raising events to finance hosting the vistors from France and Germany. Access to BTTA member only events such as the French Lunch and Christmas wine tasting. Hitchin Floral Art Club The group usually meets on the third Wednesday evening of the month at Church House, Hitchin. We belong to NAFAS who provide qualified floral demonstrators. They show how to arrange flowers and foliage to create pleasing designs. We also run in house workshops where members can practise their own skills. We will publicise the LALG in our newsletters. Jen

Karate-do Shotokai Karate club based in Stevenage we meets every Tuesday night at the Great Ashby Community Centre. We are a relaxed and happy group learning new skills and having fun and are looking to grow the club into the wider Stevenage and Letchworth community. We practice an authentic style of Karate. We do not compete or strike each other. We learn to be agile, to remain calm in our respond to threats. We learn balance and control. Reduced fees. £35 a year and £15 per month for hall fees. North Herts Bowls Club Outdoor lawn green bowls club situated on Norton Common, Letchworth. We offer sports and social facilities throughout the summer - May to September. We participate in competitions with other local clubs. Our membership is 70 men and women, mainly retired.

North Herts Ramblers Group North Herts Ramblers Group is part of Ramblers - the national walking charity.
We are a friendly Group, encouraging not only walking, but related social activities. We walk every Sunday, most Saturdays and occasional mid weeks. We have dog friendly walks every Saturday and some times midweek. Our walks take us throughout North Herts, and occasionally into Beds, Essex, and sometimes into London itself. We aim to develop leadership skills amongst our members, running regular courses.

Pembroke 50+ Club The Pembroke 50+ Club is a well-established Indoor Sports and Social Club that meets at the Letchworth Leisure Centre. Membership is open to the over 50s who are living in Letchworth and the surrounding villages. Currently, it's prime activities are Badminton in the Sports Hall; and Keep Fit classes, for which it has a dedicated Pembroke room in the Leisure Centre. Silvertone Singers We are a very friendly daytime singing group which meets every Monday in the centre of Letchworth. If you love to sing, and you haven’t found the right group, this may be it! There are no auditions, and in one hour we sing a variety of well known songs followed by coffee, so come and join us. Just turn up at Mrs Howard Hall at 10.45. The Arts Society North Herts The Arts Society North Herts is a member society of The Arts Society (formerly NADFAS). We offer opportunities to discover the arts of yesterday, today and tomorrow through lectures on all aspects of the Arts given by accredited lecturers who are experts in their field.Visitors are welcome at our lectures and membership is available. The lectures are held at 11 am at The Broadway cinema and Theatre on the first Thursday of the month except in January and August.

Unicorn Ceilidhs Unicorn Ceilidhs aims to provide top-quality dances for the local community, featuring a wide range of ceilidh bands and callers. All are welcome, with no experience needed as all the dances are walked through and explained thoroughly, although many of our regulars are now quite experienced dancers.
