Calling all writers!
To celebrate our 35th Anniversary, LALG launched a writing competition at the Letchworth Festival.
Although we have run competitions just for members in the past, this is on a wider scale as we are inviting anyone who lives within a 20-mile radius of Letchworth to take part.
There are 2 classes, it is free to enter and the closing date is 30 September 2022. Adults are invited to submit a piece of up to 10,000 words and juniors (up to 18) up to 5,000 words.
The story must be set in Letchworth, feature 3 hobbies or interests and prominently showcase ‘35’.
The prizes are £250 in book tokens for adults and £100 for juniors.
