Hitchin – a Market Town Through the Years

There is time for a tea or coffee before the meeting begins at 10.30am (£1 per mug).

The first talk, Mrs Howard Memorial Hall, will be given by Bobby Singh, Hall manager. This will be followed by Hitchin – a Market Town Through the Years

  • David Howlett, from Hitchin Historical Society, will tell us about the history of Hitchin
  • Andy Gibbs, from the Town Centre team, will describe a project currently underway in the town centre

Cost £3 (non-members £5, membership available at the door). 

VenueLetchworth Settlement, Nevells Road, Letchworth, SG6 4UB. 5 minutes walk from the station: turn right out of the station, walk over railway bridge and first right. There is limited parking at the Settlement, but there is two hours free parking at the car park next to the outdoor swimming pool in Icknield Way, a few minutes' walk away.
