Greece

Although we had not been having the lovely warm sunshine of Greece recently, we certainly had the food on our last Foods of The World get together. A huge bowl of Greek salad, full of lovely tomatoes and herbs and of course Feta, made for a lovely fresh starter. Fish Plaki followed then Koto Psito, a lovely succulent roast chicken served with rice, pine nuts and raisins. Dessert was baked apple in filo crust, and Karythopitta, a spiced Walnut Cake. Although quite merry from the food and accompanying Greek wine we did manage to refrain ourselves from a plate smashing end to the evening. Thanks Hilary and Richard.
