Birds in a Cage

Birds in a Cage

Thursday, 15 March 2018 - 7:45pm

This month’s talk is by Derek Niemann and is titled Birds in a Cage. At Warburg POW camp in Germany, in 1941, four British PoWs find an unexpected means of escape from the horrors of internment when they form a birdwatching society, and embark on an obsessive quest behind the barbed wire. An interesting talk for naturalists and military aficionados alike.

Please join us at the Mrs Howard Hall on 15 March. Refreshments will be available before the evening's events, which will get underway at 7.45pm.
